Stops on a dime 7/22/2008

I picked these balls up because I wanted to get a three-piece that wasn't too expensive. The cover is not that durable but I was sold on the ball when I hit my 9 iron onto a blind green and didn't get nearly enough loft to keep it where I wanted it. When I walked up to the green I was extremely happy to find my ball hadn't rolled down the steep slope of the back of the green but was right in the middle. These are now my new balls and I swear by them.

First of all, for the record I love the distance, feel, and "check" of these balls. Honestly I couldn't tell a difference playwise between these and pro v1's. I honestly thought I had found the magic ball for the money. Then I picked up my ball to clean it on the green. I had hit a 2 iron off the tee and a full gap wedge to the green. The gap wedge had literally shredded the cover. I'm not gonna play by play my whole round but the meat and potatoes of the story is that by the end of the round I had used 3

I got this ball as a present. I usually use HX tours. I love this ball. It stops dead on the green, even if ball flight not high. Only problem is the ball starts to peel after first hole. My pro also had this experience. Can only use for one round. But it was a great round.

for the value this is as good as they come. the only other balls on the market that will bite like this is the prov-1 series and the tour HX balls. with a new wedge, i could pitch in a low skidder with 1 hop and stop it on a dime. you have to pay $20 more a dozen to get this kind of green-reaction w/ other pills.
